Who is Ronit J?
Ronit J is a fantasy author whose debut book, Help! My Dog Is The Chosen One! released on 1 December 2023. Having decided to write books at the age of 11, he has finally accomplished his goal at 29.
I don’t know why I wrote that last paragraph in third person. I guess it’s supposed to be like that, but I want this website to be a conversation between me and you. To keep it brief, I’m a writer, I’m a filmmaker, and I’m a fantasy nerd. I’ve done a lot in my life, but films and fantasy literature are the most important to me. So, on this site, it’s going to be all about fantasy.
I am truly excited to finally embark on this journey. I hope that my writing leaves you feeling astounded and impressed. If you want to know more about me, check out my about page.

Ronit J’s Books
I made this website in October 2023. Since then, I’ve self-published 3 fantasy books. One lighthearted urban fantasy, a grimdark fantasy anthology, and a horror grimdark stand alone. I don’t need to specify which is which (I hope). Click on the covers below to read more.

In case you’d like to glance into my unorganised and arguably arbitrary thoughts…
I’ve been posting rather regularly, with the majority of my posts being film, TV, and book reviews. I used to post about my book updates, WIPs, etc. but those posts didn’t get even a fraction of the views that my reviews got, so the shift in focus was a no-brainer. However, I do post the important updates on my newsletter. If that interests you, feel free to subscribe for updates, as well as a free copy of my grimdark fantasy anthology.

I ranked Jury Duty (2023) among my top 10 shows of 2024. While I was sceptical about a sequel season, I was intrigued to see how they’d recreate the charm…
